Recoil Now RN-1 — Objective Solo Thrust Training

RN-1 is a handheld training device for chiropractic and osteopathic students learning high-velocity, low-amplitude techniques.

It enables focused solo practice by providing a clear reference during each thrust — observing setup stability, force, speed, and recoil intent.

Rather than attempting to simulate anatomy, RN-1 concentrates on the mechanical components of thrust performance and makes them observable. This allows repetition to become structured, informed, and intentional.

RN-1 is a training aid designed to support mechanical refinement through repetition. It does not replace tutors, technique classes, or clinical experience. It extends them.

What RN-1 Observes

During each thrust, RN-1 evaluates:

Setup stability (pre-load control) and the two common errors associated with the setup phase; run-ups and over-locks.
Thrust force range; three bands – low, medium, high forces in a single axis.
Thrust speed range; three bands – low, medium high speeds.
Recoil versus non-recoil intent; depends on your settings (recoil-only, non-recoil-only, or mixed recoil) including warning for ‘slow release from recoil’
High force warnings; out of range according to your settings, and out of range for the device itself.

Feedback is delivered through simple visual indicators, allowing quick review before the next attempt.

Designed for Continuity

RN-1 supports ongoing skill development between practical sessions.

It can optionally guide training using adjustable goals, or be used freely for open-ended exploration.

The focus is not on achieving a perfect score — but on building consistency and awareness over time.
